Clubs - Lego

We are having lots of fun in Lego Club. Armani is creating a house with as many windows as she can find. Zane is busy building houses and vehicles. Meanwhile the rest of the boys are creating elaborate spaceships with the aim of protecting the universe from "baddies". I can't wait to see what the group comes up with next!

Clubs - Cooking

This term in our cooking club we have been cooking lots of home made meals. Each week we take it in turns to cook something savoury or sweet. We have been learning about personal hygiene when cooking, sharing the responsibility in the kitchen when preparing and cleaning, and also different techniques and tricks to make things easier when cooking in the kitchen.

Clubs - Netball

‘Diamonds’ Netball Club
We have had a very wet start to our Netball club, but not even rain can stop our budding netball superstars!
With the rain keeping us mostly indoors and undercover, we have been practising our skills and discussing the role of each player and the rules we must follow.
Miss Nolan has loved watching Mia, Emily, Ashleigh and Phoebe shine as they have organised and lead each club lesson. They always bring an energy and positivity that inspires Lottie, Ava, Kaylee J, Sienna H, Keelia, Charlotte and Allaine to give their very best and have fun.
We can’t wait to get out onto the courts and put to practise our netball skills and knowledge!

Clubs - Knitting

Why teach children to knit?
Knitting teaches children fine motor coordination, problem solving, attention span, responsibility and persistence. With the help of our Year Six leaders Hannah Vergone and Emily Lenzarini, we have enjoyed different forms of knitting-traditional knitting with needles, spool knitting and circular knitting. We hope you enjoy our photos!
From Mrs Lenzarini and the Saint Joseph’s nifty knitters!
